The Regatta lobelia series is a superior, quick blooming trailing variety that continues to look good and flower heavily all summer. Regatta lobelias are superb performers in hanging baskets or borders.
Lobelia seeds can be collected when the plant dies back in fall, although you should leave some for reseeding so you can have more plants the following year.
Sow thinly in trays or pots of seed compost. Press the small seeds into the surface. Keep moist and warm, 15-20C (60-68F). Germination will take 7-14 days.
Lobelia erinus is the annual variety of the plant and comes in many species. It is not hardy in cold temperatures and will not survive being frozen. The Lobelia x speciosa varieties are perennials.. . . . .364011235905!]
