Allegheny blackberry is a multi-stemmed shrub with arching canes that often forms large colonies. The canes are armed with stout spines and the inflorescence is covered with stalked glands . This blackberry produces edible berries that are eaten by many birds and small mammals.

It is possible to grow blackberry shrubs by planting seeds, but the seedlings vary in features. ... The germination rate drops when the seeds dry out. Place the fruit in a blender, pulsing on low until the seeds and fruit separate. Strain the berries out of the juice, and pick the seeds out of the pulp with tweezers.

Put the berries in a blender, then hit the "Pulse" button on low speed, blending the berries until the seed is visibly separated from the pulp, or mash the berries with a fork. Pour the fruit into a strainer to separate the juice from the berries. Pick out the seeds with tweezers.

Blackberries contain numerous large seeds that are not always preferred by consumers. The seeds contain oil rich in omega-3 (alpha-linolenic acid) and omega-6 (linoleic acid) fats as well as protein, dietary fiber, carotenoids, ellagitannins, and ellagic acid.. . . . .364011235508!]0000000000000009783314145689!]
